Danone Specialized Nutrition Thailand is seeking for PCM Assistant Engineer. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all packaging artwork development and related processes for all packaging projects (including new products, compliance, and secure projects)
• Manage adaptation of existing artwork of packaging and communication materials to support business strategies
• Conduct packaging development and testing for new products; develop and test new or alternative packaging for existing products
• Communicate packaging requirements within function and cross-function to achieve project and business goals
• Discuss concepts and details of packaging development with team and resolve packaging-related problems
• Update and maintain packaging information/specifications in company sharing system
• Coordinate packaging trial runs and commercial production schedules
• Provide packaging material specifications for cost evaluation and purchasing for commercial production
• Coordinate packaging testing related to machinability and production process, and provide packaging information/specifications for production and quality control
• Coordinate pallet pattern specifications; issue packaging materials and finished products for testing and sample preparation
• Coordinate adapting and adjusting machines to run new or existing packaging with high efficiency
• Provide color printing proof and technical support on packaging technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Technology, Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, especially operations with technical/process and packaging background
• Knowledge of factory raw materials, packaging materials, products, processes and equipment
• Understanding of raw material, packaging material and technology development processes
• Basic project management skills including risk analysis and root cause analysis
• Respect for Q&FS, Safety and Environment standards on site and strong understanding of ISO/HACCP/GMP/Safety/Environment systems
• Leadership competencies; people-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
• Good command of English
