Business Analyst – Airline/Cargo Domain

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in the Airline/Cargo domain to drive business analysis, requirement management, and system enhancement initiatives for mission-critical airline applications. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, developers, and architects to ensure successful delivery of enhancements, issue resolution, and continuous system improvements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and elicit requirements
• Analyze existing systems and processes to identify improvement opportunities
• Work closely with development teams to address and resolve system/code issues
• Define and document BRD, FRS, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, UAT, and requirement clarifications
• Ensure features align with business and operational needs
• Investigate and resolve production issues in collaboration with technical teams
• Support corrective, predictive, and evolutionary maintenance activities
• Work with data and analytics to proactively identify system risks
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for system performance and functionality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT, with strong exposure to Airline/Cargo systems
• Experience with CHAMP Cargosystems is a plus
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Proven experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and backlog management
• Hands-on experience working with enhancements, fixes, and feature development
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field
