About the Role

The Lokafyer Growth Specialist role is central to Lokafy’s growth. This is not just a recruiting role. You’ll be responsible for the health of our supply in specific cities: making sure we have the right Lokafyers, in the right languages, responding on time, and delivering great experiences. You’ll be expected to think like an owner of your cities.

Responsibilities

• Own a set of cities and be accountable for their supply health
• Recruit and onboard high-quality Lokafyers when needed (quality > quantity)
• Interview and evaluate potential Lokafyers for fit, reliability, and communication
• Re-engage inactive or low-response Lokafyers
• Monitor response rates, availability, and feedback to spot issues early
• Experiment with and improve sourcing channels and outreach approaches
• Use data and patterns to anticipate recruitment and activation needs
• Work closely with Operations to ensure bookings don’t get stuck and occasionally support Ops tasks (traveler or Lokafyer communication)

Qualifications

• Communicate clearly and thoughtfully in writing
• Enjoy talking to people and building relationships
• Can prioritize and make decisions without perfect information
• Take ownership and are comfortable figuring things out independently
• Like improving systems, not just following them
• Are interested in marketplaces, travel, or community-driven products
• English fluency is required; additional languages (especially German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, or Italian) are a strong plus
• Not a good fit if you prefer highly structured, repetitive tasks, are uncomfortable with ambiguity, or don’t enjoy proactive outreach and follow-ups

Additional Information

• Compensation: the listing notes $400–700 USD per month (390–685 EUR per month); this remote position is intended for people based in countries with low cost of living
