Senior Specialist - Corporate Strategy and Renewable Energy

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic professional to support corporate decision-making and drive business growth in the evolving energy landscape. This role will work closely with senior leadership, including the CEO, to provide market insights, shape strategy, and identify new investment opportunities across energy and renewable sectors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze national energy policies (e.g., PDP updates, government initiatives) and global energy & macroeconomic trends to identify risks and opportunities
• Conduct in-depth research on energy transition pathways, emerging technologies, and industry developments, including competitive benchmarking
• Assess market structures, regulatory frameworks, and policy changes impacting the energy sector, particularly renewable energy
• Translate complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations, including implications of policy shifts on business strategy
• Develop high-quality presentation materials for senior management and CEO-level discussions
• Act as a strategic advisor by providing perspectives on market dynamics, industry challenges, and growth opportunities
• Support annual strategy review and refinement aligned with Horizon planning cycles and drive end-to-end strategic planning processes, including preparation of materials and stakeholder alignment
• Track and monitor execution of strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and facilitate cross-functional collaboration across strategy, finance, engineering, and operations teams
• Translate corporate strategy into actionable initiatives and new growth opportunities (new S-curve development), identify and evaluate new business models, investment opportunities, and strategic partnerships
• Develop go-to-market and market entry strategies for new geographies or business lines and conduct market and commercial due diligence, including feasibility and strategic fit assessments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Energy, Business, or related fields
• Master’s degree (MBA or related discipline) is an advantage
• 5–10 years of experience in energy consulting, market research, or investment analysis
• Strong knowledge of power markets and renewable energy and solid understanding of energy regulations and market dynamics
• Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage complex, multi-country projects
• Experience in due diligence and financial modeling is a plus
