About the Role

We’re seeking chemists to join our AI training project. In this role you will review AI-generated responses, evaluate reasoning quality and step-by-step problem-solving, and provide expert feedback to help models produce answers that are accurate, logical, and clearly explained.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated solutions and evaluate reasoning quality and step-by-step problem-solving.
• Assess solutions for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to the prompt.
• Identify errors in calculations, methodology, or conceptual understanding.
• Fact-check chemical information across public sources.
• Write high-quality chemical explanations and model solutions that demonstrate correct methods.
• Develop AI training content: create detailed prompts and example responses to guide AI learning across topics.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to enhance model accuracy, fluency, and contextual relevance.
• Test models for potential inaccuracies or biases and validate reliability across use cases.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on chemical correctness and reasoning quality.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Chemistry or a related field from a high-ranking university.
• Strong knowledge of chemical reactions and stoichiometry, organic mechanisms, analytical methods, and physical/quantum chemistry.
• Expert at fact-checking information using public sources and communicating chemistry clearly.
• English proficiency C1 or above with excellent writing skills.
• Preferred background in research, analytical writing, debate, programming, or chemistry.
• Bonus: experience with data labeling, RLHF, or AI model evaluation.
• For PhD holders: experience developing or critically reviewing complex chemistry content (e.g., problem banks, proofs, textbook sections, research notes).
