Lead Engineer

About the Company

Jenosize Digital Group seeks a passionate and experienced Lead Engineer (Full-Stack) to join the team and help shape the future of the companys technology platform, leading development of frontend and backend applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and foster a collaborative development environment.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement technical solutions for complex business problems.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable web applications using Node.js (Express.js, NestJS) for backend and modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js) for UI.
• Implement APIs (RESTful, GraphQL) and integrate with third-party services and databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and prevent regressions.
• Participate in system architecture design to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability, and collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD and automation practices.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure a smooth user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with strong focus on Node.js and modern frontend frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of Node.js core concepts, asynchronous programming, and design patterns.
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Solid understanding of web development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and UI/UX design principles.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) and version control systems (Git).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving skills, and leadership experience with ability to mentor junior developers.
• Passion for building innovative and user-centric web applications.
