Production Team Leader (MFW1.1)

About the Company

Location: Robert Bosch Automotive Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Hemaraj Industrial Estate, Tasith, Pluak Daeng, Rayong, Thailand

This site is an integral manufacturing plant and R&D center—the first smart factory in Thailand—producing gasoline injection systems (capacity ~1 million fuel injector units/year) and housing R&D labs and testing equipment for automotive customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan tooling, capacity, machines and stock to ensure smooth production and avoid problems.
• Manage and control production processes to achieve the production plan with SQCD according to company standards.
• Maintain stock for molding parts, perform Relowisa, manage Kanban and update quantities in the SAP system.
• Monitor daily production performance using KPIs (OEE, productivity, IDC, etc.) and react to deviations in collaboration with the team; escalate when necessary.
• Record production data (hourly output, loss time) and book into SAP.
• Control shopfloor documentation and support Industry 4.0 activities related to operations.
• Request work-on to ensure daily consumables, tools and equipment availability.
• Deploy policy and continuous improvement activities; motivate subordinates to participate.
• Confirm 4M changes and maintain up-to-date production documents.
• Support shopfloor preparation for growth and trial activities.
• Prepare daily production and production-problem reports as required.
• Maintain and implement Bosch Production System (BPS) activities such as 140 and 5S, and support improvement and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• High Vocational Certificate or above.
• At least 3 years of people management experience.
• Fair communication skills in English (reading and writing); other languages are an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of injection molding process and experience in the plastic mold industry.
• Knowledge or experience as an SAP shopfloor key user and SAP analysis.
• Knowledge or experience in production process control, automation, or molding parts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally; willingness to take on additional responsibilities or special assignments.
