Senior Auditor CRS (APSCA Certified)

About the Role

Execute accurate, objective and high-quality assessments by implementing all requirements indicated in the client specific procedures, auditor training and audit scope. Prepare in advance by downloading and reading audit documents and protocols related to upcoming audits and document and report audit findings/observations.

Responsibilities

• Execute audits in accordance with client procedures, auditor training and defined audit scope.
• Prepare for audits by reviewing audit documents, protocols and related materials in advance.
• Document and report audit findings and observations, and submit audit reports to facility management.
• Communicate audit results professionally, objectively and clearly, including conducting opening and closing conferences.
• Verify effectiveness of corrective actions resulting from audits.
• Conduct specialized audits requiring higher-level auditing skills and methodologies (e.g., RBA, RJC, SMETA, Environmental, Capacity Building and Continuous Improvement).
• Update country law profiles for assigned country/region and maintain appropriate tracking tools in support of audit and advisory services.
• Cooperate with and support other auditors and staff; mentor trainees, team and lead auditors.
• Partner with training team, program managers and client-facing groups to develop and deliver programs.
• Complete assigned training activities, apply feedback for continuous improvement, and respond promptly to reviewer queries and emails.
• Treat privileged information with discretion and ensure audit-related documents and results remain confidential and secure.
• Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and all physical and digital security practices.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors degree) preferred.
• Must have a ASPCA CSCA requirements.
• Willingness and ability to travel to other regions or throughout the designated country (up to 85% annually).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fully proficient/literate in a second language preferred.
• Excellent oral communication skills; capable of addressing high executive audiences and conducting opening and closing conferences.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills; creative and innovative thinking to problem-solve and streamline processes.
• Ability to lead a team of auditors during project execution and specialized audits; mentor role experience preferred.
• Proficient in internet navigation, e-mail and PC software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
