Cost Control Project Executive, Scommerce

About the Role

Cost Control Project Executive — Shopee. On-site at the Samut Sakhon warehouse. Full-time role focused on warehouse cost control, financial modelling, data analysis and project management.

Responsibilities

• Keep track of warehouse cost performance, conduct data analysis to identify cost saving opportunities, prepare reports and present to senior management.
• Propose and design initiatives aiming for cost reduction; drive process improvements as project manager to achieve cost saving targets.
• Work with key stakeholders to ensure implementation of cost saving projects.
• Partner with FP&A to develop, maintain, and implement changes to financial models to support P&L forecasting, budgeting, and other requirements to inform strategic initiatives.
• Perform competitor analysis and benchmarking to model and track competitor cost structures and extract insights to inform strategy.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, Project Management, or related fields.
• Quantitative background with analytical and problem solving skills and flexible thinking to address what-if scenarios.
• Proficient in complex financial modeling with Excel / Google Sheets.
• Experience in data analysis with SQL, Google Data Studio, and visualization/programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English and ability to present and independently discuss topics with management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Willing to work on-site at the Samut Sakhon warehouse.
