DayOne is a global leader in the development and operation of high-performance data centers with a growing presence across Asia and Europe. As the company expands into new international markets, this role contributes to DayOne's global data infrastructure and cross-border logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistics and supporting services for export transportation of DayOne’s goods (transportation from Chinese Mainland to overseas).
• Arrange international transportation according to terms of trade, including road, rail, and air from designated domestic points to designated destinations.
• Apply for cargo transportation insurance, including comprehensive insurance for loss or damage during transportation, storage, and delivery.
• Manage and handle domestic export customs declaration, sea freight, import customs clearance at Thailand port, land transportation from Thailand port to project destination, and customs duty-free handling.
• Enable and manage storage of goods in warehouse before shipment or distribution at destination; be responsible for receiving goods from dock or designated warehouse until delivery on board.
• Engage freight forwarders or logistics vendors for assembling, loading/unloading, and unloading at destination.
• Obtain bill of lading, ship certificate, and other documents signed by shipowner or shipping agent and process them within DayOne’s systems (such as SAP, SharePoint, OA etc).
• Provide shipping schedules and dynamic information of vehicles and vessels; follow up, supervise, track and monitor transportation process and destination of goods.
• Be responsible for destination port operations and manage export freight consultation, space/container booking, storage, receipt, shipment, delivery, inspection, claims handling, document preparation and retrieval, packing, and related activities.

Order Management

• Ensure entrusted goods are shipped on time and safely; provide timely written updates on cargo allocation, container allocation, and boarding.
• Manage chartering, ordering and loading goods; after loading, update and record order number, product name, quantity, invoice amount, gross weight, ship name, departure date, estimated arrival date, etc.
• Ensure goods are delivered within planned time limits to avoid unnecessary storage and insurance fees.

Foreign Trailer/ Container Arrangements

• Ensure transportation vehicles are arranged for overseas transportation, comply with laws/regulations, and are equipped with qualified drivers per consignee instructions and local regulations.
• Manage and ensure logistics forwarders deliver goods to designated project sites within specified timeframes per DayOne and consignee requirements.
• Check trailers/containers comply with existing insurance requirements.
• Provide unloading guidance to the consignee, including on-site inspections, verifying unloading plans, arranging forklifts and manpower, and preparing contingency plans for adverse weather.
• Provide logistics tracking information for each batch, including estimated arrival, actual arrival, pre-clearance, customs clearance, delivery plan, unloading, container return, and notify destination port/consignee.
• Ensure correctness of bill of lading information and corresponding piece/gross/body/box/seal numbers during domestic operations.
• Promptly notify Project Team of unexpected circumstances and take mitigation measures, including advance payment of abnormal expenses with prior confirmation from Project Team/department managing the budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in international logistics, export operations, or supply chain.
• Strong background in customs clearance procedures (export/import).
• Strong understanding of Incoterms and freight documentation (bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing list, etc.).
• Knowledge of cargo insurance, container space booking, and handling claims.
