About the Company

The Damage/Expiry/Missing management is operating under the Inventory & Asset team in Operations Excellence function. This team is responsible for the strategic planning, design, optimization, and execution of warehouse inventory sellable and unsellable management, storage layouts and stock balancing, playing a critical role in maximizing space utilization, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing the customer and staff experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage DEM compensation value to remain within allocated budget, perform financial tracking, monthly reporting and align with senior management on projections.
• Project potential costs associated with aging stock and high-risk categories and provide forecasts to commercial and ops teams to mitigate financial impact.
• Identify operational gaps and control standardized SOPs for handling physical stocks and system transactions to proactively reduce unsellable inventory.
• Design and enforce FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) protocols to minimize write-offs due to product expiration.
• Act as the PMO for DEM-related initiatives, set clear targets for the operations team and manage timelines.
• Conduct deep-dive investigations into DEM trends and build audit frameworks to distinguish between systemic sync errors, process non-compliance, and physical shrinkage.
• Lead regular reviews with Warehouse leads to calibrate operational performance against DEM KPIs and ensure cross-functional alignment on inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in inventory control, loss prevention, or warehouse operations excellence; experience in large-scale warehouses or distribution centers preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to transform raw inventory data into financial insights using Excel, SQL, or BI tools.
• Financial literacy with experience in budget management and cost-projection logic to justify operational spend against loss-prevention ROI.
• Proven problem-solving mindset with ability to deconstruct high shrinkage rates into actionable root causes and process improvements.
• Project management experience leading cross-functional projects, managing milestones, and holding operational stakeholders accountable.
• Familiarity with WMS and understanding of how inventory transactions impact physical stock accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English for documenting SOPs and reporting to regional stakeholders.
