Maintenance Engineer - Ayutthaya/Samut Sakhon (SPX Express)

About the Role

Maintenance Engineer (onsite) — Based at Ayutthaya (SOCN) or Samut Sakhon (SOCW). Responsible for ensuring reliability and availability of warehouse sorting systems and automated machinery.

Responsibilities

• Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze primary equipment downtime to identify trends and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to implement long-term corrective actions.
• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance schedules and inspections for warehouse sorting systems and automated machinery.
• Project Management: Lead planning, installation, and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to technical specifications.
• Operational Excellence: Minimize unplanned breakdowns through proactive troubleshooting and implementation of a data-driven maintenance culture.
• Compliance & Safety: Support and enforce Corporate Safety (EHS), Environmental, and Quality Management Systems to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
• Cost Management: Monitor and optimize maintenance budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising reliability or safety.
• Continuous Improvement: Generate and manage system change documentation (MOC) to enhance machine efficiency, performance, and reliability.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, conduct performance evaluations, and provide technical guidance to meet departmental KPIs.

Qualifications

• Location: Able to be based at Ayutthaya (SOCN) or Samut Sakhon (SOCW).
• Educational Background: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum of 05 years of industrial maintenance or plant engineering. Fresh graduates welcome.
• Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of industrial machinery and automated sorting systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Autodesk AutoCAD) for layout design and technical documentation.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of local and international mechanical codes, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership presence; exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills under high pressure; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; adaptability to a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
• Language Skills: Professional working proficiency in English (technical reading of manuals and effective communication with international vendors).
