Loss Prevention Manager

About the Role

Patrol all areas of the property to secure rooms and assist guests with room access; monitor CCTV and alarm systems; authorize, monitor and document access to secured areas; respond to accidents and emergencies and administer first aid/CPR as required; conduct investigations, interviews and key control audits; defuse disturbances and escort unwelcome persons from the property; ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws; assist management in training, motivating and coaching employees; maintain confidentiality of reports and proprietary information; welcome and assist guests according to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct emergency response drills and daily physical hazard/safety inspections.
• Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems; document incidents and complete reports.
• Investigate incidents, conduct interviews, and perform key control audits.
• Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required.
• Defuse disturbances, resolve safety hazards, and escort unwelcome persons from the property.
• Authorize and document access to secured areas and provide necessary paperwork to employees.
• Assist management with training, coaching and enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Greet and assist guests, address service needs, and maintain professional appearance and conduct.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related work experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• License or certification: None required (note: some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements).

Additional Information

• Physical demands: stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 50 lbs without assistance and heavier with assistance; move through narrow/confined/elevated spaces and over uneven surfaces; reach, bend, twist and stoop as needed.
• Work requirements: may include running or moving at speed to respond to situations; shift work and night duties as required by property operations.
