Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineering

We are seeking an Engineer in Supplier Quality Engineering to support supplier-driven quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Support part quality improvement activities at supplier sites under guidance of senior engineers or supervisors.
• Assist in reducing defective part rates to meet section quality targets.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation and provide technical support for component-related production issues.
• Support suppliers in executing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and follow up on Failure Analysis (FA) activities to ensure timely closure.
• Prepare and issue Corrective Action Requests (CAR) or Quality Notifications in the internal quality system.
• Review assigned supplier performance dashboard data, report issues and propose initial improvement ideas to senior engineers.
• Perform other quality-related tasks as assigned to support departmental goals.
• Authority: make task-level decisions under supervision; propose purchase requisitions for tools/materials required for assigned work; suggest process or product quality improvements within assigned area.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferred: basic computer operation skills.
• Preferred: basic knowledge of quality principles, manufacturing processes, problem-solving methods and quality documentation.

• Data collection and basic data analysis.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow defined procedures.
• Attention to detail.
• Good English communication skills (verbal and written).
