About the Role

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of an AI-driven motion capture solution based on Methods-Time Measurement (MTM) principles, including designing and implementing computer vision models to track and analyze hand and body movements.
• Develop algorithms to calculate Actual Time and derive Standard Time using motion-based data, and build/optimize ML models to classify motion patterns and detect inefficiencies.
• Develop and maintain a standardized Pandora Motion Library Code, translating motion patterns into reusable MTM-based codes for analysis, benchmarking, and scalability; ensure the solution is scalable and adaptable to existing and new product designs.
• Transform unstructured data (video, images, manual time study) into structured datasets, develop feature engineering pipelines (coordinates, velocity, trajectory) and ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and monitor data drift and model input quality.
• Co-develop AI solutions with external vendors/partners: define requirements, review deliverables, act as the main technical counterpart, ensure knowledge transfer, long-term maintainability, and monitor vendor performance against timelines and outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with non-technical standard time stakeholders (Plant PEx, Production, PD) to understand business needs, translate complex AI outputs, drive alignment, and influence cross-functional discussions on standard time processes and best practices.
• Analyze movement patterns to identify best practices, reduce cycle time and rework, and deliver data-driven recommendations applicable across diverse product types and future design iterations.
• Define KPIs and success metrics (efficiency improvement, time reduction, rework reduction), track and evaluate solution performance and impact, and ensure compliance with data governance and company standards.
• Lead business requirement analysis by translating business pain points into actionable data and AI strategies; evaluate AI/DS use cases, assess feasibility and impact, and mentor junior staff on bridging business and technical requirements.
• Proactively monitor emerging technologies and AI tools for time management, assess and lead adoption of AI-powered solutions, collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure system compatibility, and oversee implementation and ongoing performance.
• Support change management by facilitating AI integration into business processes, lead PoC initiatives and UAT, gather feedback to refine solutions, provide training and guidance on time tracking systems, and support Senior Manager, Standard time for ad hoc activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
