We are technically focused long-term partners and seek to hire top talent to own and execute the end-to-end operations procurement cycle that supports uptime, safety and lifecycle performance of MEP infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Procurement Execution & Compliance — Lead competitive sourcing, evaluation and recommendations to contract award and handover (including MEP refresh/retrofit projects); align scope, technical specifications, method statements and commissioning criteria with Technical and Operations teams; ensure adherence to procurement policies, approval limits, audit trails and segregation of duties; review and validate supplier invoices, variations and claims against contract terms, SLAs and site acceptance criteria; execute purchase and replenishment orders and reconcile receipts, usage and stock variances; manage commercial change control, instructions and final account.
- Contract & Supplier Management — Liaise with internal legal on the contract lifecycle, oversee contract documentation, negotiate contract details and administer maintenance and service contracts; lead supplier management processes, ensure compliance with contract terms, mitigate supplier risks and conduct inventory analysis; coordinate supplier onboarding including screening (financial, HSE, ESG, cybersecurity as applicable); monitor supplier performance, facilitate reviews, manage escalations, corrective actions and post-incident debriefs for continuous improvement.
- Cost, Budgeting & Lifecycle — Support annual Opex budgeting with baselines and assumptions; track actuals vs plan and forecast run-rate; maintain an operation cost database (materials, labour, spares, contracted services) for benchmarking; identify and drive cost-saving opportunities and maintain lifecycle cost models for data centre assets.
- Data, Reporting & Governance — Publish monthly dashboards (spend by category/site, savings/avoidance, supplier performance, claims status, inventory KPIs); safekeep contracts, drawings, performance bonds, insurance certificates, warranties and final accounts in an auditable repository; drive process improvements (lead times, first-time-right PO/GR, automation, template standardisation).
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in engineering, cost consulting or equivalent (Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Procurement & Supply; Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or others).
- 3+ years’ experience in procurement and contract administration; experience with data centres or heavy MEP infrastructure preferred.
- Proficient in end-to-end procurement processes and contract administration.
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Meticulous, analytical, proactive and able to work independently to tight timelines.
- Relevant certifications (as applicable).
Skills
- Experience in supplier screening and onboarding, supplier performance management and contract lifecycle management.
- Budgeting, cost control and lifecycle costing for operational assets.
- Reporting and dashboarding of procurement KPIs and inventory metrics.
Additional Information
- Primarily office-based with regular collaboration across departments and regions; occasional travel to construction and operational data centre sites for inspections, meetings and contract assessments.
- Role may involve working in high-security environments and exposure to technical equipment areas where strict safety protocols apply.
