IT Engineering (1 year contract)

About the Role

Adecco — IT Engineering (1 year contract). Onsite, full-time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve daily IT operational activities to ensure stable and efficient business operations.
• Resolve escalated infrastructure, system, and application issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Collaborate with IT engineers and cross-functional teams to analyze root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• Lead and support the implementation of infrastructure, system, and application projects.
• Analyze current IT environments and recommend improvements for both short-term and long-term technology roadmaps.
• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize IT infrastructure and systems to support refinery business operations and business process improvements.
• Ensure maximum system availability, integrity, security, and confidentiality across all IT platforms.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and reliability to proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Support technology standardization, documentation, and compliance with company policies and security requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and external partners for technical support, implementation, and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Technology in Electrical and Electronics, Business Computer or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT as a software developer, programmer, or system analyst with data ingestion/integration and analysis tools such as MS Fabric, Azure Data Factory; programming languages such as SQL, Python, R; and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI and data modeling tools.
• Experience with data analysis and data engineering concepts and technologies.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing/data lake concepts and best practices.
• Project management skill will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
