Digital Solution Engineer

About the Role

Engages with customer technical decision makers and influencers to build credibility, lead technical wins, and shape strategy. Leverages customer context, portfolio expertise, and technical or industry knowledge to drive adoption of Microsoft capabilities, act as the voice of the customer to product teams, and enable partners and sales teams through demonstrations, architecture patterns, and training.

Responsibilities

• Act as the voice of the customer (VOC) by driving feedback, blockers, insights, and resources across territories and ensuring they are prioritized.
• Represent customers to product and engineering teams to shape products and services and deliver competitive insights.
• Provide strategic, technical, and partner input to contribute to strategy development, leveraging partner and competitor knowledge.
• Use customer context, cross-solution/portfolio expertise, and market/industry knowledge to build credibility with customers individually or at scale.
• Engage engineering, product, and support teams and leverage programs/investments (e.g., MTC, exec briefing center, partner workshops) to remediate blockers.
• Ensure consistency and quality of engagements through standards and best practices and utilize common sales and delivery methodology to identify new opportunities.
• Present, apply, and customize architecture patterns and demonstration assets; demonstrate and oversee demos (pre-built demos, ADS, POC sessions) of solutions based on multiple Microsoft products.
• Engage in partner sell-with scenarios as liaison between partner and team, maintain pre-sales and partner relationships, and proactively select top partners for early engagement.
• Apply and coach sales teams on sales methodologies to guide customers through digital transformation; build readiness plans and identify learning gaps; conduct group training and enablement events.
• Monitor and respond to tech community posts and identify opportunities to promote product usage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on-premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
• Certification in relevant Microsoft or industry technologies or disciplines (examples: Microsoft Office 365; Power BI; Azure Administrator, Architecture, and Development exams; Cloud Platform Technologies; Information Security; Architecture).

• Employment type: full-time. Work arrangement: onsite.
