Finance Manager - Based in Bangkok

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic Finance Manager to lead financial operations in Thailand and across subsidiaries in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. The role will oversee the finance team and work closely with the CEO to provide financial guidance, ensure compliance, and drive efficiency across financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and consolidation of financial statements for Thai and international entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely submission of financial reports to management and parent companies.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, analyse financial data to identify trends and variances, and provide guidance on profitability, revenue, and expenditure.
• Oversee financial reporting and tax planning for the company and its subsidiaries; assist in development of transfer pricing policies.
• Act as primary point of contact for external auditors, facilitate audits, implement and maintain internal controls, and address audit findings.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to manage cash flow and working capital, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
• Supervise and mentor the finance team, conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and support professional development.
• Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to the CEO and other key stakeholders and maintain effective communication with management and functional leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of accounting and finance experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and financial consolidation processes.
• Experience coordinating with auditors, implementing internal controls, and understanding audit processes.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Xero is preferred.
• Prior experience in the advertising/creative agency industry and experience in international taxation are preferred.
• Excellent English and Thai communication skills.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
