Supplier Quality Specialist

About the Company

Our client is focused on the design, manufacturing, and global distribution of premium motorcycles, scooters, and related mobility solutions. They also support its products with after-sales services, accessories, and a strong brand presence worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of supplier quality performance across all project phases within assigned scope and act as the main quality interface and escalation point for suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Integrate quality and reliability requirements early in development and industrialization stages; identify, assess, and mitigate supplier quality risks throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead supplier pre-selection, quality evaluation, and nomination processes; evaluate supplier readiness and define improvement plans to ensure compliance before SOP.
• Ensure process maturity, production stability, and consistent quality in mass production; support production ramp-up and ongoing series production to maintain stable supply and quality.
• Manage complex quality issues, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions; monitor and ensure achievement of key quality metrics (e.g., PPM, process capability, maturity levels).
• Communicate quality performance, risks, and recommendations clearly to management and project teams; act as senior authority for quality-related decision-making and collaborate with global stakeholders.

PPAP / ISIR

• Oversee end-to-end PPAP and ISIR processes across the supplier lifecycle.
• Plan, manage, and approve PPAP/ISIR scope, timing, and deliverables and act as escalation authority for critical deviations, ensuring effective resolution and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in supplier quality management within automotive or motorcycle industries.
• Strong expertise in quality planning, supplier industrialization, and PPAP/ISIR processes; proven ability to manage complex quality topics across multiple suppliers and international teams.
• Proficiency in English and Thai; willingness to travel and work on-site with suppliers.
