MRP Supervisor

About the Role

Keep materials moving, production running, and supply chains honest at the manufacturing heart of King Living. You will own material availability end to end — from MRP outputs and purchase orders through to supplier follow-up, import coordination, and production continuity. Based at our King Furniture Thailand manufacturing facility in Rayong, you will coordinate closely across production planning, sourcing, warehouse, ImEx and finance to ensure materials arrive at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right cost.

Responsibilities

• Material Requirements Planning — Review production plans, forecasts, BOMs and stock levels; run and validate MRP outputs; confirm demand/supply gaps and convert approved requirements into accurate purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Supplier & Purchase Order Management — Place and follow up POs with local and overseas suppliers; manage order confirmation, delivery schedules, MOQs, lead times and price validity.
• Import/Export Coordination — Coordinate with ImEx team, freight forwarders and overseas suppliers on shipping schedules, ETD/ETA tracking, import documentation, customs clearance and delivery to site.
• Supply Risk & Shortage Management — Monitor material arrivals and shortage risks proactively; escalate constraints early and drive recovery actions to protect production continuity.
• Inventory & Master Data Control — Maintain and review MRP master data (lead times, safety stock, min/max, reorder points, supplier planning parameters); monitor slow-moving, surplus and obsolete stock and recommend actions to reduce working capital.
• Reporting & Team Leadership — Prepare material planning reports and KPI dashboards (shortages, on-time delivery, inventory coverage, PO status); supervise and develop MRP/planning team members to improve planning accuracy and cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in MRP, material planning, purchasing or supply chain — preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience issuing PRs and POs and coordinating with local and overseas suppliers.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, BOMs, safety stock, lead times, MOQs and inventory control.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or other reporting tools preferred.
• Working knowledge of import/export coordination, shipping documentation and customs clearance processes.
• Strong analytical thinking with ability to balance demand, supply, inventory and production priorities; high attention to detail and strong ownership of planning data and material availability.
• Professional proficiency in English — essential for communication with international suppliers and the broader King Living team.
• Supervisory experience or demonstrated ability to lead planning activities and coordinate cross-functional follow-up preferred.
