Process Improvement Manager

About the Role

The Process Improvement Manager is responsible for leading and driving continuous improvement initiatives across CROWN Food Packaging (Thailand) PLC's manufacturing operations. Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and WCM (e.g., TPM) to improve plant efficiency and sustain excellent operations. Work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, R&D, Supply Chain and other related departments.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Lean Manufacturing program and sustain/strengthen WCM/TPM across all plant operations
• Lead kaizen events, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities
• Conduct teams to identify improvement opportunities throughout the production lifecycle
• Monitor KPIs including OEE, cycle time, defect rates and throughput to track improvement progress
• Plan, prioritize and manage multiple improvement projects to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
• Apply Six Sigma tools and statistical analysis to reduce variation and promote data-driven decision making
• Partner with department heads and plant management to align improvement priorities with business objectives
• Drive change management initiatives and facilitate buy-in from operations teams at all levels
• Collect, analyze and interpret production and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities
• Track project milestones, conduct post-implementation reviews and ensure sustainability of improvements
• Prepare and present performance dashboards and management reports to senior leadership
• Provide coaching, training and mentoring on Lean tools, RCA techniques and problem-solving methodologies
• Integrate quality management requirements (e.g., ISO, FSSC 22000) into improvement initiatives
• Ensure process improvement activities comply with occupational safety regulations and internal standards
• Support environmental and sustainability goals and related global projects in alignment with corporate ESG commitments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial, Production, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Certified Lean–Six Sigma Black Belt
• Solid understanding of WCM and TPM
• Minimum 10 years' experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in process improvement, industrial engineering or operational excellence
• Proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings and productivity improvements in manufacturing
• Experience in food & beverage packaging, metal can, or FMCG manufacturing advantageous
• Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, Power BI or equivalent)
• Excellent project management skills; result- and detail-oriented with strong interpreted communication skills
