Ambient Quality Management System

About the Role

Main purpose (short version):
Drive a consistent QMS across Ambient operations
Ensure compliance with global standards (ISO, BRC, IFS) through audits
Manage quality reporting & KPI insights for stakeholders
Lead and develop teams to strengthen performance and culture

Responsibilities

• Develop annual internal audit plans for AMEA region covering key risk areas (Quality, Food Safety, Regulatory, Supplier, Environmental).
• Coordinate audit schedules across AMEA sites and communicate scope, objectives and timelines with stakeholders.
• Plan, lead or support internal audits at AMEA manufacturing sites, co-manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring activities meet corporate standards and external regulations.
• Perform risk-based assessments to identify gaps, non-conformities and improvement opportunities; escalate critical systemic issues to senior management.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies, SOPs, customer standards and legal requirements; support third-party and customer audits.
• Compile audit reports with findings, risk levels and corrective action recommendations; track and verify CAPA implementation and provide regular KPI updates to regional/global leadership.
• Conduct training and coaching on audit readiness and compliance; build audit capability at site-level QA/QC teams.
• Support incident investigations and root cause analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams on mitigation plans.
• Maintain audit and compliance data in centralized systems (QMS platforms, audit tracking tools) and ensure documentation control and traceability.
• Identify trends, share best practices and drive harmonization and continuous improvement across AMEA sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management or related field.
• Strong experience in QMS, internal audit and compliance within the food or FMCG industry.
• Deep knowledge of global standards (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRC, IFS, HACCP).
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and generate insights; experience developing audit reports and dashboards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; experience delivering training and building capability.
