Supply Planning Advanced Specialist

Responsibilities

Main Activities: Supply Planning & Execution

• Plan and manage production and non-production materials based on MRP, demand forecasts, and production schedules.
• Review, release, and adjust supply planning according to demand changes and inventory status.
• Monitor material availability to ensure smooth production.
• Effective communication to related functions to ensure material supply are alignment with plan.

Inventory & Risk Management

• Maintain inventory levels in line with guideline targets and inventory turn objectives.
• Identify potential material shortages, excess, or slow-moving inventory and propose corrective actions.
• Support actions to minimize obsolete and at-risk inventory.

Supplier & Logistics Coordination

• Follow up supplier delivery commitments and resolve delivery or quantity issues.
• Coordinate shipment plans with suppliers and warehouse teams to support efficient receiving and storage.
• Support initiatives to reduce premium freight and logistics cost.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with Demand Planning, Production Planning, Warehouse, Purchasing, and SQA to align material plans.
• Participate in material readiness reviews and support engineering change implementation (ECR).
• Identify process gaps and actively propose improvement ideas related to supply planning and inventory control.
