[SBS] Packing Supervisor

About the Role

Manage and monitor overall Outbound (Packing) processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement for Outbound process through problem identification and analysis.
• Monitor and improve productivity across all Outbound functions.
• Manage, study and understand WMS for existing and new outbound functions and mentor team members.
• Create work plans and schedules to accomplish objectives.
• Prepare monthly and daily reports and handle outbound issues.
• Plan and communicate between the department and other related units.
• Set working processes to reduce damage, defects and wrong packing.
• Manage day-to-day order receiving in WMS ensuring on-time operation and accuracy.
• Manage overall problems and coordinate cross-communication between shifts, departments, customers and vendors when necessary.
• Plan and continuously monitor departmental operations to meet work requirements.
• Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staffing and respond to fluctuating workloads.
• Resolve personnel problems, complaints or grievances when possible.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Logistic management, Supply Chain or related field.
• At least 3 years of working experience in warehouse operation.
• Experience in Outbound is an advantage.
• Be able to communicate in English.
• Problem solving skills and conflict management.
• Ability to work under deadlines and pressure.
• Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
• Good team player.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work on shift and day-off when required.
