Logistics Manager (Waste Supply)

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and control end-to-end waste logistics to ensure continuous and sufficient waste supply for uninterrupted power plant operations
• Coordinate waste collection, transportation, delivery schedules, and unloading activities in line with plant capacity and operating plans
• Ensure waste quantity, quality, and delivery timing meet operational and contractual requirements
• Manage relationships with waste suppliers, municipalities, transport contractors, and third-party logistics providers
• Develop logistics plans, routing, and contingency measures to mitigate supply disruption and operational risks
• Monitor waste stock levels, delivery performance, and logistics KPIs to support stable plant operations
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws, waste management regulations, transportation rules, permits, and HSE standards
• Oversee documentation related to waste transportation, licenses, manifests, and regulatory reporting
• Control logistics and transportation budgets; optimize costs while maintaining service reliability
• Lead contract negotiations, SLAs, and performance evaluations of logistics and transport vendors
• Work closely with plant operations, commercial, HSE, and external stakeholders to align supply plans
• Lead, coach, and manage logistics and waste supply teams; set KPIs and drive performance improvement
• Prepare operational reports, risk assessments, and management updates for senior management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in logistics, waste management, supply chain, or industrial operations
• Proven experience managing waste logistics for power plant, WtE, utilities, or heavy industry
• Strong knowledge of waste regulations, logistics operations, contractor management, and safety compliance
• Solid leadership, problem-solving, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to travel and work on-site in upcountry and international locations
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score)
