Buyer Planner in Thailand

Homewerks Worldwide, LLC is a leading supplier of innovative home improvement products in the plumbing industry with factories in Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia. We specialize in kitchen and bathroom products such as bath ventilation fans, LED mirrors, faucets, showerheads, valves and supply lines.

About the Role

The Buyer Planner is responsible for managing inventory levels to ensure products are available to satisfy customer requirements while minimizing obsolescence and overstock. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and support of continuous improvement activities at our factories, primarily in the Rayong and Chonburi areas.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supply products to maximize customer service while minimizing obsolescence and overstock.
• Manage inventory levels and replenishment to meet demand requirements.
• Collaborate with procurement, production and other cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement at factories.
• Use ERP, forecasting and supply planning systems to create and monitor plans.
• Develop and manage supply chain projects and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree from a four-year college or university in business, supply chain, statistics, logistics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of supply chain planning/buyer planner experience.
• Experience using ERP, forecasting and supply planning systems; BI tools are a plus.
• APICS, Lean Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement and PMP certifications are a plus.
• Advanced analytical skills and ability to make sound recommendations based on data.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Problem solving and process improvement skills; excellent organization and follow-up.
• Advanced communication and negotiation skills in Chinese and English.
• Ability to develop and manage projects; strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Must be located in Thailand; Thai citizen preferred and able to stay near Rayong Province and visit factories as needed.

Benefits

• Salary range: THB 78,000 - THB 85,000.
• Full-time; temporary position for 6 months.
• Work-from-home / home office arrangement with factory visits as required.
