Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of firmware projects from concept to final product integration.
• Monitor team utilization and allocate resources to ensure high-priority tasks are staffed effectively without burnout.
• Collaborate with leadership on project quoting and monitor revenue recognition milestones.
• Act as the technical coordinator between firmware engineers, hardware designers, and external clients.
• Drive project velocity and ensure firmware milestones align with hardware design cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Programming, Electronics or related fields.
• 5-8 years of experience in Software Project Management or Scrum Master, with a specific focus on Embedded Systems or Firmware.

Skills

• Proficient in JIRA, Azure DevOps and other Agile project management tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to translate technical issues into clear updates for non-technical customers.
• Solid technical literacy of how firmware integrates with product hardware; knowledge of IEC62304 or ISO13485 is a plus.
• Proven ability to work in high-utilization, fast-paced environments and maintain team focus during tight deadlines.
• Experience negotiating timelines, managing customer expectations, and handling customer pressure.
• Financial aptitude for project-level quoting, revenue recognition and cost management.
