Quality Engineer

About the Role

Tianyi Medical (Thailand) — Quality Engineer. Onsite, Full-time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review quality control plans; communicate key methodologies and critical control points.
• Continuously improve quality control plans to ensure ongoing effectiveness.
• Establish standards for Incoming Inspection and organize quality system training so inspectors understand requirements.
• Develop quality control training plans to enhance employees’ knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
• Define inspection standards, scope and procedures for each production process and conduct training to improve QC efficiency.
• Establish Finished Goods inspection measures and criteria and provide training to ensure inspections are correct and effective.
• Develop machinery inspection processes and organize training to improve operational efficiency.
• Establish testing standards, testing methods, measurement procedures, and detailed work instructions; conduct training to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Control and monitor drawings, Statistical Process Control (SPC), inspection equipment, and quality indicators in the production process.
• Collect production quality data and analyze trends and statistical data when quality issues arise.
• Manage quality issues in production by conducting problem analysis, identifying root causes with relevant departments, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Follow up on quality issues to ensure thorough resolution and verify effectiveness of implemented measures.
• Develop and implement improvement plans, including improvements to measuring instruments and tools to increase efficiency and reduce defects.
• Collaborate with Production, R&D, Engineering/Tools and Techniques, Purchasing, and other departments to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement of the quality management system.
• Regularly report on quality system performance to supervisors and communicate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Age 25–45 years.
• At least 3 years of experience in quality control or related fields.
• Knowledge and competency in quality management principles, industrial/manufacturing processes, statistical analysis, and ISO 9001 quality management system.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or other relevant certifications will be given special consideration.
• Good communication skills, strong learning ability, strong problem-solving skills, and capability in innovation, planning, and efficient execution of tasks.
