Responsibilities

• Work with BCG clients to develop and implement strategies to optimize strategic procurement processes and supply chain management.
• Analyze processes, procurement organizations and product groups; develop suitable strategies and measures to optimize the supply chain and strategic procurement process, implement these strategies and realize measurable results for clients.
• Undertake a broad range of project assignments across industries and geographies, from start-ups, retail and consumer goods to energy, automotive, pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
• Provide intensive customer consulting: prepare and participate in workshops and negotiations, present processes and structures, act as direct client contact and rapidly gain industry-specific know-how.
• Support cross-industry knowledge development by participating in compliance centres and contributing to capability building across the firm.
• Take on professional leadership: senior consultants lead interns and consultants, transferring methods and specific expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred, with an above-average grade.
• Minimum 2 years (Consultant) or 4 years (Senior Consultant) relevant experience in consulting, procurement, supply chain management or operations.
• Analytical thinking, flexibility regarding mobility and enthusiasm for new tasks; performance-driven mindset.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Results-oriented, team player, pragmatic and collaborative.
• Confident appearance in an international environment and business fluent in English; flexible in professional mobility.
