Internship - Wafer Technology: Equipment Engineering for High-End Machines Setup

As an intern you will gain hands-on experience supporting the high-end equipment maintenance team with setup, inspections, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure new equipment to meet manufacturing requirements.
• Assist with regular equipment and machinery inspections to assess condition.
• Participate in general maintenance and basic repair tasks, such as part replacement and minor repairs.
• Learn troubleshooting and repair processes by shadowing experienced maintenance engineers.
• Identify and document maintenance activities, record maintenance tasks, and assist in creating maintenance schedules.
• Acquire familiarity with safety regulations and industry-specific rules.

Qualifications

• Currently studying 3rd or 4th year in a Bachelor’s program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic maintenance issues.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to document activities and interact with team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow instructions from senior maintenance staff.
