Consulting - Manager, Technical Architect

The opportunity:

As a Technical / Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, assessing, and governing technology solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise architecture principles. You will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, technology partners, and vendors to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and fit for purposes.

The role requires a strong understanding of enterprise and solution architecture, system integration, cloud technologies, and modern application design patterns. Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, or large-scale transformation programs is highly desirable.

Your key responsibilities:

• Design and review technical solutions that meet business requirements and align with the company's strategic goals for core system solutions (banking or insurance for example)
• Define solution architectures, integration patterns, and technology blueprints that support strategic business objectives.
• Evaluate solution alternatives and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and implementation approaches.
• Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and technology governance principles.
• Work closely with business, product, technology, and delivery teams to understand requirements and translate them into solution designs.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement in solution design.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges, ensuring timely and effective solutions.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
• 8–12 years of experience in solution architecture, application architecture, enterprise architecture, or technology consulting roles
• Strong background and understanding in core banking platforms and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex enterprise applications and integration solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF) are a plus
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing architectures for mobile banking apps and associated digital platforms with a strong understanding of financial services, consumer banking, and regulatory requirements
