Procurement Engineer

About the Role

Procurement Engineer (Plant Operations / Project Execution / Energy). Location: Bangna Tower, Bangplee Samutprakarn. Onsite. Full-time.

Responsibilities

• Manage major contracts with about 40 A/B suppliers
• Drive cost savings and value-add initiatives across procurement
• Ensure early procurement involvement in projects with external spend
• Align with and implement regional/global procurement strategies
• Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders up to business leadership level
• Ensure contracts include strong risk mitigation, compliance, and supplier governance
• Maintain adherence to safety, code of conduct, and ethical purchasing standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years working experience in Procurement Engineer
• Strong contract negotiation and commercial awareness
• Experience in project management / change management
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical diagrams
• Understanding of maintenance work (e.g., compressor, motor, construction)
• Knowledge of customs regulations; CAD/CAM/SolidWorks is a plus
