Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

TOS Global is a leading provider of offshore crane services and fabrication in Southeast Asia. We are looking for a results-driven Quality Assurance Manager to lead our Quality Management System and drive excellence across fabrication, welding, inspection, and crane manufacturing operations in Sattahip, Thailand. Reporting to the QHSE Manager, you will own QA/QC across all operations — from supplier qualification and audit management to final release inspection — and work closely with Production and QHSE teams to embed a 'Right First Time' culture and deliver safe, compliant, on-time results for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS policies and procedures (ISO 9001, API Q1 & Q2, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
• Lead internal and external audits; manage non-conformances and corrective/preventive actions
• Oversee QA/QC for fabrication, welding, inspection (WPS/PQR/WQT), NDT, and final release
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) investigations, SWOT analysis, and risk-based quality planning
• Manage calibration programs, inspection logs, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Lead the Management of Change (MOC) process to identify and mitigate risk
• Review contracts and scope for quality requirements; conduct supplier audits
• Deliver training on quality standards, inspection techniques, and continuous improvement
• Prepare QA metrics and management reports to support data-driven decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in offshore, fabrication, or crane industry
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI by AWS or CSWIP 3.1); NACE, Coating Inspector, or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor is an advantage
• TOEIC score minimum 700+; strong written and verbal communication in English
• Proficient in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher), FMEA, RCA, and risk management methodologies
• Familiar with API 2C, API 2D, API Q1/Q2, ASME B30, and DNV/ABS/Lloyd's standards
