Project Manager

About the Role

Project Manager responsible for delivering IT projects within the Airline/Cargo domain, coordinating technical and business teams for application development, system integrations, testing, deployment and production rollout.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resource plans, and budgets.
• Track project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and organizational processes.
• Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, airlines/cargo operations teams, product owners, vendors, and technical teams.
• Facilitate requirement gathering workshops and translate business requirements into actionable project plans.
• Manage customer expectations and ensure timely communication of project updates.
• Coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and support teams for successful solution delivery.
• Oversee application development, system integrations, testing, deployment, and production rollout activities.
• Ensure compliance with security, performance, and operational requirements.
• Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies or traditional project management activities based on project needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT industry; relevant experience with Airline and Cargo systems. Experience with CHAMP Cargosystems is an added advantage.
• Bangkok, Thailand (onsite). Preferably Thai-speaking local candidates.

Skills

• Strong travel domain experience – Airline/Cargo Systems.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong experience in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and distributed teams.
• Expertise in project planning, estimation, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Confluence, or equivalent.
• Understanding of operational and regulatory requirements within the aviation/cargo industry.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Airline/Cargo domain.
