Manager - Commercial Project Controller

Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a Commercial Project Controller for our Service Business.

Responsibilities

• Jointly own project financial results with the Project Manager; drive performance across gross profit, cash flow, working capital, and financing structure.
• Ensure financial transparency and accuracy of project books and forecasts, lead monthly project reviews, forecasts, and budget control.
• Lead commercial and contractual evaluation during project execution and handover; manage claims, variations, and commercial negotiations with customers and partners.
• Work closely with Legal, Tax, and Compliance to ensure proper contract structuring and governance compliance.
• Identify, assess, and steer project risks and opportunities; develop mitigation strategies and drive implementation aligned with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG) and Project Management standards.
• Act as key interface to customers’ commercial and financial representatives and influence internal/external stakeholders to resolve commercial issues; collaborate across functions (Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Legal).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in commercial project management, project finance, or contract management, with proven track record in large-scale or complex projects (e.g., infrastructure, engineering, EPC).
• Exposure to customer negotiations, claims, and contract management is a strong advantage.
• Solid knowledge of project finance, cash flow management, and cost controlling; knowledge of Project Accounting is an advantage.
• Ability to negotiate, influence, and manage senior stakeholders; structured and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Highly self-motivated and proactive, able to balance attention to detail and strategic oversight.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
