About the Company

At L'Oréal, we believe beauty moves the world — and so do the people behind it. As the world's #1 beauty company, we are driven by innovation, sustainability, and an unwavering commitment to excellence across our entire value chain. In Thailand, our Operations team sits at the heart of our business: transforming our distribution capabilities to serve our customers and consumers better, faster, and smarter. We foster an entrepreneurial culture where talent is empowered to make bold decisions, drive meaningful impact, and grow into future leaders.

About the Role

L'Oréal is deploying ODES (Omnichannel Distribution Execution Solution) — a Manhattan Active® based Warehouse Management System (WMS) — as part of the broader NEO program (global ERP migration to SAP S/4 HANA). As Physical Distribution Transformation Project Manager you will be the on-the-ground transformation leader for Thailand, steering the end-to-end implementation of Manhattan Active WMS at the local Distribution Center and ensuring a seamless transition from the current SAP WM system to the new global standard. This role requires a dual presence between the Distribution Center and Head Office and sits at the intersection of IT, logistics operations, and business transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end ODES deployment project in Thailand, from scoping and planning through to go-live and stabilization.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for local operations teams, regional/global ODES program teams, IT, and third-party vendors; build and maintain a comprehensive project plan including milestones, resource allocation, risks, and dependencies.
  • Ensure alignment between the local implementation and the global ODES standard methodology, adopting harmonized processes based on Manhattan Active® best practices.
  • Coordinate the transition from SAP WM to Manhattan Active WMS running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and ensure integration with the HIP (Hybrid Integration Platform) connecting to SAP S/4 HANA (NEO).
  • Partner with DC operations teams to map current warehouse processes (Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Management, Co-packing, Labor Management) and design the future-state operating model; champion change management on the DC floor to ensure operators, supervisors and managers are trained and ready.
  • Oversee UAT (User Acceptance Testing), data migration activities, and cutover planning; identify operational risks related to go-live and build mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Facilitate project governance meetings (Steering Committees, project reviews, operational readiness reviews); engage and align cross-functional stakeholders including Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, Finance, Customer Care, VAS and QEHS.
  • Report progress, risks and issues to senior leadership with actionable recommendations and collaborate with global/regional ODES teams to keep Thailand deployment aligned with the broader rollout across 42 Distribution Centers.
  • Define and track project KPIs through planning, deployment, and stabilization; monitor post-go-live performance, drive resolution of operational issues, capture lessons learned and share best practices with regional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a strong plus.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, or Logistics project management with proven track record leading large-scale transformation or system implementation projects in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Hands-on experience with WMS systems — knowledge of Manhattan Active WMS is a significant advantage; familiarity with SAP (WM or EWM modules) or ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Experience with systems running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and integration via Hybrid Integration Platform (HIP) to SAP S/4 HANA is desirable.
  • Experience in FMCG, Beauty, Retail, or Consumer Goods sectors is preferred; prior experience managing IT/business transformation projects with multi-stakeholder environments is essential.
  • Strong project management skills and solid understanding of end-to-end warehouse processes: receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management.
  • Analytical mindset with advanced skills in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, or equivalent) and excellent communication and facilitation skills to engage both shop floor teams and senior executives.
  • Fluent in Thai and English (written and spoken).
  • Behavioral competencies: hands-on leader comfortable on the DC floor and in the boardroom; change agent who brings people along on the transformation journey; solution-oriented, collaborative, entrepreneurial, and able to take ownership and act with accountability.

Additional Information

  • Location: Thailand | Division: Operations / Supply Chain
  • Work Pattern: Split presence between Distribution Center (DC) and Head Office (hybrid)
  • Employment type: Full-time
