Process Cycle Engineer

About the Role

To ensure the verification and optimization of processing cycles, in particular the implementation, in compliance with PEF (Financial business plan) and planned production targets and time/quality/quantity parameters for the area of responsibility. To prepare process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Optimize working cycles and verify cycle performance
• Design and maintain process documentation and make it available for production
• Prepare production routines
• Define and optimize manual and nonstandard operations
• Perform cycle time analysis and time studies
• Evaluate ergonomics (OCRA/NIOSH etc.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in Manufacturing or Process Engineering (preferred)
• Hands-on exposure to manufacturing processes such as Blanking, Punching, Induction Hardening, Grinding and Disc production
• Experience in automotive components manufacturing is an advantage
• Good understanding of production environments and shopfloor operations
• Basic knowledge of cycle time optimization, line balancing, productivity, scrap reduction and efficiency improvement
• Familiarity with production processes including Blanking, Punching, Induction Hardening, Grinding, Washing and Inspection
• Understanding of process flow and routing in disc production
• Basic knowledge of tooling and fixture concepts and machining parameters
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (including GD&T), understand Bill of Materials (BOM) and process routing
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach in a production environment
• Willingness to work on the shop floor and actively support production-related issues
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good communication skills in both Thai and English
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Production, Quality, and HQ teams
