Foundation specialist

About the Role

We are looking for Foundation specialist to manage and oversee the operations of the foundation in alignment with its mission, vision, and goals, while fostering collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective and sustainable organizational performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans and annual operational plans for the foundation
• Supervise and monitor projects and activities to ensure alignment with the mission
• Manage budgets, finances, and resources with transparency and accountability
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, government agencies, private sector, and communities
• Prepare and present performance reports to the foundation’s board of directors
• Develop staff capacity and strengthen team performance
• Oversee public relations and organizational communications
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing non-profit organizations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration, Political Science, Social Sciences, or related fields
• At least 3-5 years of experience in managing non-profit organizations or social projects
• Strong skills in project and budget management
• Excellent communication, coordination, and networking abilities
• Leadership qualities and strategic problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of laws and regulations related to non-profit organizations
