We are seeking Audio Evaluators to participate in an exciting project focused on evaluating audio clips in Hokkien - 闽南语. This role involves assessing and analyzing audio recordings to ensure alignment with project guidelines, emphasizing accent recognition, transcription, and audio recording.

Project Details:
Location: Remote
Job Type: Freelance contract
This position is not available for candidates based in Mainland China.

Responsibilities

• Listen to short audio clips in Hokkien and evaluate them using a defined rubric.
• Accurately identify target accents from provided audio samples.
• Compare multiple recordings and assess which one sounds more natural in relation to the target accent.
• Apply consistent and objective judgment based on provided evaluation guidelines.
• Maintain high quality and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• Native level fluency in the target language (Hokkien / 闽南语) with an in-depth understanding of its regional accents and dialects.
• Fluency in written and verbal English to understand instructions, evaluation criteria, and project documentation.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to identify and differentiate subtle variations in accents.
• Capability to follow detailed guidelines and apply them consistently during evaluation.

Additional Information

• Prior experience in audio evaluation is a plus.
