The Director, Domestic, SME & Affinity is responsible for leading the strategic growth, operational performance, and profitability of the Domestic, Small & Medium Enterprise (SME), and Affinity businesses in Thailand. The role drives business development, client retention, insurer partnerships, product innovation, and team leadership while ensuring the delivery of high-quality risk and insurance solutions aligned with Aon's business objectives.

What the day will look like

Business Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and execute the strategic business plan for Domestic, SME and Affinity segments.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion.
• Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and emerging customer needs.
• Establish annual business objectives, budgets, and performance targets.
• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to align local initiatives with broader business strategies.

Client & Market Development

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, insurers, affinity partners, automotive partners, financial institutions, and industry stakeholders.
• Lead acquisition of new clients while expanding existing client relationships.
• Develop innovative insurance and risk solutions tailored to Domestic and SME segments.
• Oversee client retention and service excellence initiatives.

Affinity Program Development

• Lead the design and implementation of affinity insurance programs.
• Establish strategic partnerships with organizations, associations, banks, automotive manufacturers, retailers, and other distribution channels.
• Evaluate business opportunities and develop scalable affinity propositions.
• Ensure effective governance and operational models for affinity programs.

Operations & Service Excellence

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Domestic, SME and Affinity teams.
• Ensure efficient service delivery, policy administration, and operational controls.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service quality standards.
• Drive continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.

Financial Management

• Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
• Supervise revenue performance, pipeline development, and profitability.
• Ensure effective cost management and resource allocation.
• Report business performance and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.

People Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop managers and team members.
• Develop a high-performance, client-focused culture.
• Support talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Drive collaboration across business segments and functions.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and Aon corporate requirements.
• Maintain strong governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
• Ensure adherence to professional and ethical standards.
