Business Controller

About the Role

Business Controller. Reports To: Head of FP&A, Credit & Collection. The Business Controller manages the day-to-day business controlling activities, ensuring Linde business activities are conducted in accordance with the global strategy and direction and that financial impacts are measured and reported following the Linde accounting standards and reporting instructions. Supports the definition of local financial policies and ensures adherence to local and global policies is controlled.

Responsibilities

• Oversee investment and asset management, ensuring optimal capital allocation and asset utilization
• Perform financial analysis to support business performance evaluation and strategic initiatives
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decision‑making
• Lead forecasting and budgeting activities, including variance analysis and outlook updates
• Manage inventory and cost control, driving cost efficiency and margin improvement
• Prepare and deliver management reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity for senior management

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience across various general finance functions, with broad exposure to multiple areas within the Finance function in multinational companies
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English
• Experience with SAP and financial reporting tools is preferred
• Operates ethically and with integrity; self-motivated, able to work autonomously and in teams; strong influencing and partnership-building skills
