Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health pricing strategies to ensure competitive and profitable pricing of health products.
• Conduct thorough actuarial analysis and modeling to support pricing decisions.
• Collaborate with H&P and product solution teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor pricing to inform pricing strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Continuously improve pricing models and methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency, including providing mentorship and guidance to junior actuaries.
• Manage the approval process for product launches, including obtaining necessary approvals from OIC and GPAC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• ASA or continued professional education through taking and passing actuarial exams is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in health insurance pricing or related actuarial field.
• Proficiency in actuarial software and tools (e.g., SQL, Prophet, Excel, AI).
• Knowledge of health insurance regulations and market dynamics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
