Field Application Engineer

About the Role

Field Application Engineer supports technical and solution to sales and marketing. This role will also be responsible for project coordination and support PM to deliver proposed solutions to customers. If you have technical/presales/tender experience in overall datacenter solutions, please apply.

What you’ll do:

• Pre-Sale Support
• Review technical and prepare comparison of product with customer requirement and comment or advise suitable solution both cost and technical to customer.
• Coordinate with technical team or factory if require more technical support and product and service sale price.
• Prepare solution and present product.
• Prepare proposal, Cost sheet as proposed solution.
• Prepare and updated product specification in Thai and English for designer or customer to put in TOR.
• Prepare comparison product with our competitor, what is advantage and disadvantage of each product and train to sale.
• Prepare ICS and get approval from CGM and/or EA team as authorized level.
• Project Execution
• Coordinate with PM to deliver to manage project timeline as our scope of work.
• Coordinate and supervise partner to install 3rd party product and services for costinng.
• System configuration, startup system and site acceptance test (SAT) by coordinate with PM and service team or 3rd party partner.
• Coordinate with Partner and PM to prepare Shop-Drawing and As-built drawing (if need), operation manual in Thai and training document by coordinate with service team.
• Training by coordinate with PM and service team.
• Coordinate with Sale, PM and customer service team to invoice.
• After Sale Support
• Support service team for after sale service (if required).
• Investigate and solve the issue of product or installation (if required).
• Other Support
• Support marketing Event to be speaker of the public event, partner event, In house training etc.
• Support any technical document to apply TISI.
• To be committed & responsible for Quality Management System:
• Implement the process approach and risk-based thinking
• Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS
• Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS requirements
• Ensuring the QMS meets its goals
• Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS
• Create a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Field Application Engineer (FAE) or in a related UPS product field preferred.
• Experience in recruitment is highly preferred.
• Good command of English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to take initiative.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Enthusiastic with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and driven to achieve targets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and web-based tools.
• Experience with computer hardware and software is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical audiences.
