Responsibilities

• Manage internal audit engagement including performing risk assessment, developing risk model and universe, developing audit plan and audit program, executing audit project work plan (control design effectiveness and control operating effectiveness) and delivering/presenting internal audit report
• Manage special projects such as internal control gap analysis, compliance review (e.g. Bank of Thailand, FCPA, EH&S, Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)), internal control breach investigation, and inventory count assignments
• Advise project teams on business impact and provide recommendations/areas for improvement
• Review engagement deliverables and present findings to client management and audit committee
• Monitor engagement progress against work plan and budget
• Assist business development activities including proposal preparation and selling presentations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, AIS, MIS, and/or MBA
• CIA/CPA/CCSA/CRMA holders will be given additional consideration
• Manager level – minimum of 8 years working experience in Internal Audit, Internal Control, Risk Management, Compliance, Financial Audit or QAR; multi-national environment preferred
• Knowledge of risk assessment, internal control and process improvement preferred
• Direct industry experience in FSI (Banks, Insurance, Capital Markets), Energy Resources & Industrial, Life Science & Healthcare, or Technology, Media & Telecommunications sectors preferred
• Able to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail; able to work independently with less supervision and strong commitment
• Able to work in upcountry and travel occasionally
• Good command of English both writing and speaking
• Actively participate in learning and development opportunities and be a good team player able to handle assigned tasks within a timely manner
• For male candidates, Certificate of Military Exemption is a must

Development Opportunities

• Lead business development efforts in Thailand focusing on Energy Resources & Industrial, FSI/Insurance, Life Science & Healthcare or Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Automotive sectors
• Engage and collaborate with regional Deloitte offices to deliver regional engagements
