Responsibilities

• Converse with the model on real-world trading scenarios and theoretical financial questions across topics such as asset valuation, options and futures, commodities markets, trading algorithms, and market microstructure.
• Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness of model outputs and document failures and edge cases.
• Capture reproducible error traces and document failure modes to help harden model reasoning.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering, evaluation metrics, and model testing approaches.
• Apply domain expertise in investment strategies, risk management, derivatives trading, portfolio analysis, regulatory compliance, financial modeling, economic indicators, and financial reporting during evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a closely related field is ideal.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or Series licenses preferred.
• Experience on trading floors, in financial analysis, or in compliance projects signals fit.
• Strong ability to communicate metacognitively—"showing your work"—and explain reasoning step-by-step.

Benefits

• Pay range: $8 to $65 per hour, with exact rate determined after evaluating experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary from the pay range listed above.
