Project Manager

About the Role

This Project Manager role ensures business continuity within Siemens Energy Grid Technologies, Substations division in Thailand. The position oversees the lifecycle of substation projects and supports the Project Management function. Onsite, full-time.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, schedules, resource requirements, and budgets for substation projects; monitor and control project costs, timing, and staffing.
• Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams, assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and coach lower-level project management professionals.
• Identify, track, and minimize Non-Conformance Costs through proactive quality control and supplier management.
• Manage project procurement, including vendor selection, task integration, tracking deliverables, invoicing and billing processes.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs with appropriate verification and documentation.
• Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders (clients, vendors, internal teams) and prepare regular status reports on project progress, performance, and key metrics.
• Ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards, safety regulations, and technical specifications; maintain comprehensive project documentation from scoping to closure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience managing complex technical or industrial projects, preferably in the energy or substation industry.
• Proven ability to manage EPC projects with multiple stakeholders and to work independently on difficult and complex projects at a senior professional level.
• Proficiency in English and Thai (written and spoken).
• Full working rights in Thailand.
