Responsibilities

• Responsible for the whole process performance of the Injection department, including abnormality handling, analysis of production issues or defects, investigation of root causes, troubleshooting and definition of corrective/preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
• Manage customer feedback and complaint handling; follow up and resolve problems as cross-functional team leader.
• Coordinate the Injection quality and engineering team, defining daily work arrangements, long-term performance improvement plans and team development.
• Responsible for daily breakdown actions (temporary and permanent) and for daily process audits and corrective actions for audit findings.
• Work closely with quality team to achieve and improve production KPIs and implement projects to reduce defect rate, material extra consumption and overall operating costs.
• Provide analysis and reporting on production KPIs and performance for the Injection process to local and corporate teams.
• Define Production SOPs and Working Instructions; maintain Injection process documentation and deliver relevant training.
• Ensure Safety and 5S principles are followed in the working environment.
• Support readiness for NPI transfer to ensure smooth handover.
• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and ISO management systems relevant to the company (including ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001) and manage or participate in related audits as appropriate.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a manufacturing/production engineer in a related industry.
• Engineering degree in Plastics, Mechanics, Chemical or related fields.
• Experience (2–5 years) in plastic injection molding setup, operation, problem solving and mold maintenance.
• Good English written and spoken communication skills.
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Office, Minitab and AutoCAD 2D.
• Logical thinking, problem solving, analytical skills and a lesson-learn attitude.
• Strong coordination, interpersonal and communication skills.
