Purchasing manager, SEAP

About the Role

Lead the purchasing team in SEAP to support SEAP business growth, as well as developing local supplier base to support export to NA/EMEA business.

Responsibilities

• MCS (Material Continuous Saving) initiatives.
• Cash improvement: payment term, inventory and lead time optimisation.
• NPI (New Product Introduction) to support business growth.
• Support plant purchasing activity in Australia.
• Market intelligence collection.
• Develop supplier base in SEAP low cost countries: Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia.
• Develop supplier commodity strategy and monitor supplier delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in Engineering or Business background.
• Minimum 10 years global sourcing experience in multinational automotive industry; experience in high-mix low-volume products or aftermarket sourcing preferred, with 5 years people management experience.
• Familiar with chemical market; experience in chemical products preferred.
• Solid project management experience.
• Familiar with quality tools (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, 8D).
• Excellent Office and SAP tool ability.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Self-motivated, leadership and high influence power.
• Proficiency in English.
