About the Role

Reporting to the Facility Director, the Senior Facility Engineer will support planning, operations and maintenance of mission-critical data center infrastructure, document operational procedures, and ensure efficient utilization of facilities, equipment and operational resources. The role includes mentoring junior facility and operations staff and ensuring uptime, low PUE, contractor oversight and fiscal responsibility for projects and maintenance. This role is based in Chonburi, Thailand.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the data center meets or exceeds service targets for power, temperature and relative humidity and achieves uptime targets.
• Maintain healthy operation of critical systems including electrical distribution (switchgear, transformers, ATS, UPS, STS, battery management, generators, PDUs), cooling systems, fire protection and Building Management System (BMS).
• Implement and maintain MEP maintenance and monitoring policies; keep documents and drawings updated.
• Maintain vendor relationships to perform required infrastructure repair and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance of data center operations with Information Security Management (ISM), Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) and other certifications.
• Support Sales with customer service and customer satisfaction responses.
• Champion and implement policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security and business continuity; ensure incident reporting and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years' experience supporting 24x7 data centre facility management.
• Extensive operational knowledge of electrical distribution, cooling systems, fire protection and BMS.
• Possess facility management and/or data centre certifications such as CDCP, CDCS or equivalent.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with internal and external customers.
• Strong project management, troubleshooting and organizational skills.
• Hands-on team player able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and think rationally during fault/issue resolution.
• Fluency in Thai and English is essential.
